This is because ensuring that the licensed professionals serving the public are abreast current state regulations, trends and latest technologies would mean better safeguarding the welfare of the public. Before the advent of online education, professionals attended workshops and live seminars in order to fulfill the education requirements mandated by their state. Nowadays, several states allow their licensed professionals to attain their education requirements through online courses and seminars.

These days, more and more licensed professionals prefer distance learning over attending live seminars due to the convenience and flexibility it presents. Professionals can now complete the study right at the comfort of their own home, in between client visits or even at their office during their spare time.
